Reading Champions Become Judges

Hoxton Garden reading champions are privileged to take part in the Yoto Carnegie Shadowing Scheme for 2024. This scheme is in conjunction with Hackney Reading Champions. It gives young readers the opportunity to shadow the judging process for two of the UK’s most prestigious book awards. Over the next half term, they will attend Zoom meetings to discuss and share their opinions on the illustrations in the books chosen as finalists for the illustrations award for 2024 in preparation for placing their votes in May. Good luck to the finalists.
