Year 6 Create Volcanic Eruptions

Year 6 have been causing volcanic eruptions! After making predictions, they mixed carbonates and acids to create a solution. This solution is a chemical reaction which formed carbon dioxide, creating cascading bubbles. They then added fluorescent paint to the mixture and were able to see it glow using a special torch called a blacklight.
