Today, pupils enjoyed a sun-soaked day of adventure at Siam Park, one of the world’s top-rated water parks, alongside their Spanish peers from CEIP Princesa Tejina. Located in the south of the island, the park not only offers incredible water rides, but also places sustainability at its core—using desalinated seawater for its attractions and solar energy to heat it.
From the moment we arrived, excitement levels were high. Pupils spent the day exploring every ride—from adrenaline-pumping drops to fast-paced rapids—many showing great bravery and determination to try something new. It was heartwarming to see friendships strengthening as English and Spanish pupils encouraged and cheered each other on throughout the day.
After a picnic lunch in the sunshine, it was back into the water, with even the teachers joining in on the slides and rapids! The journey back to the hotel was noticeably quieter—everyone thoroughly worn out from the fun-filled day.
Andreia summed it up perfectly: “I give the day 100/10, it was the best experience.”
And Aron added, “I didn’t want to leave, we had so much fun on all the amazing rides. I want to come back!”
Dinner was very well received, with many pupils going back for second servings. A scoop of ice cream for dessert was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. With only one full day left, it’s been a joy to see how mature, responsible and enthusiastic our pupils have been throughout the trip.
Tomorrow marks our final visit to our partner school—one more chance to learn, play and connect with new friends. We can’t wait to make the most of it.
