Reading Champions Shadow Carnegie Book Awards 2025

Our Reading Champions have been given the privilege of shadowing the judging process for the shortlisted illustrators in the Carnegie Book Awards 2025. As part of this exciting opportunity, they will read and discuss a range of new children’s books, then cast their votes for the Illustrator’s Award. This experience allows our young readers to follow along with the official judging process as ‘shadowers’, giving them a voice in celebrating outstanding children’s literature and illustration.
