Reading Champions Organise Sav Akyuz To Visit Hoxton

Hoxton Garden Reading Champions had their second meeting with schools across the borough. They met virtually to make a video of book recommendations to share on the Hackney website, for schools to use on World Book Day. In addition, the children discussed the preparations for school visits by the writer and illustrator Sav Akyüz who has become a Patron of reading for the Primary Hackney Reading Champions. Everyone is looking forward to learning tips and tricks of the trade from Sav. Keep calm and carry on reading!
