Year 5 are fortunate to have been chosen to enter a photography competition celebrating biodiversity organised by Salters’ Institute.
Biodiversity is all the different kinds of life you’ll find in one area; the variety of animals, plants, fungi, and even micro-organisms like bacteria that make up our natural world.
Pupils are encouraged to ‘look from the sky to the ground’ to photograph examples of the biodiversity in our local area.
The lucky winners will have the opportunity to design and build a green space for our school with the help of some experts.
Wish them luck!
