Year 4’s Music Workshop

Year 4’s had their second Apollo string quartet workshop this week. This was in preparation for their upcoming trip to watch the Apollo Chamber Orchestra perform at the Shoreditch Town Hall on Monday 31st of January. During the workshop, children listened to a music performance from the French composer, Maurice Ravel. Children had the opportunity to discuss how the music made them feel and how the music could be used to suit an image. At the end of the session, children were able to ask many questions in relation to the instruments and how they are played.
