Reception Admissions

If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, they are due to start primary school in September 2025.

The closing date for applying for your child’s primary school place is 15th January 2025 and any applications received after this date will be treated as late.

Additional Information

Hackney Education are responsible for setting the admission arrangements for all schools for which they are the Admission Authority – that is, community and voluntary controlled schools in the borough.

Full details of the admissions criteria are available on the Hackney Education Website

Meetings for new families

Once a space has been allocated via the Hackney admissions process and the place has been accepted by a family, contact will be made by the school. You will be invited to an induction meeting towards the end of June to complete registration and to attend an induction presentation to learn about school routines, structures and how provision is delivered. In September, the teaching team will undertake home visits to meet you and your child in a familiar setting.

Notification of an offer of a School Place

Parents will be sent a letter in April by Hackney Education to notify them of an offer of a school place.
