School re-opens to all pupils on the 8th March 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope that you are safe and well. On behalf of school staff, I would like to thank you for your support during the second partial closure. The commitment to home learning shown by our pupils and family are appreciated.
We are delighted that our schools will fully open from March 8th. We will be doing everything we can in school to support our children in the transition back to face-to-face learning including a broad curriculum offer and a continued focus on health and wellbeing.
Throughout the pandemic we have followed Government guidance carefully and we will continue to do so. The risk assessment has been reviewed in light of new national guidance for the re-opening of schools. Our system of control for prevention of transmission and response in the event of symptoms or positive cases in school remain a core priority. These systems are now established in schools and minimise the risk when our community all follow them.
We look forward to welcoming all families back to school on Monday morning at the following times:
- KS2 at 8.55am
- KS1 at 8.55am
- EYFS at 8.55am
A letter has been posted home to you today with further information about re-opening and this can also be read here: Parent Letter Full Re-Opening 8th March
A copy of the letter from Cllr Bramble regarding re-start can be found here and a letter to all pupils can be found here.
